About Me 👋

Nice to meet you, my name is Janice. I'm a Senior at Rutgers University studying Supply Chain Management & Marketing with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.

 

I go by @Janice.Journal on the internet, where I share my 3D art through my digital journal known as Instagram and Tiktok. By day, I'm a Supply Chain and Marketing student with experience in Marketing & Data Procurement for multiple Fortune 500 companies. But by night, I'm a 3D blender artist sharing my creative world, 3D modeled characters, and learnings with the internet! I'm continuously exploring new technologies within the art/AR&VR/lifestyle/student realm.

 

If you saw me a year ago, you would have seen a burnt-out, overworked college student. I had a lot on my plate and was doing everything and nothing at the same time. Experimenting with 3D art allowed me to express myself and feel in touch with my emotions during a time when it was hard for me to do so. I shared that side with the internet, posting my journey and funky little creations with others.

Within 6 months of giving blender advice and sharing behind-the-scenes of my work, I hit 27k on Tiktok and 25k on Instagram. I love sharing videos that inspire others to explore their creativity & creating art that captures a wide range of emotions, experiences, and enviornments. Pushing myself to make creative content/videos, sharing new technologies, and making 3D art accessible for everyone has become my biggest goal and I strive to make everyday better than the last.

Worked with the Market Research & Data team to analyze the spend across the analytics, primary market research, and data categories every month to report to stakeholders, assess go-to-market strategy for data categories, and streamline a capabilities matrix for Data Suppliers.

Marketing Services Sourcing Co-Op

Worked within the Indirect Sourcing team to connect L'Oréal's 36+ beauty brands with digital, creative, influencer, and marketing projects/initiatives through various RFPs. Analyzed supplier performance and spend, trends, and category data.

Hosted and organized an Indirect Sourcing Case Competition for Rutgers Students to educate students on Procurement & establish talent pipelines.

Developed marketing and engagement strategy on social media platforms to raise awareness around women's health and wellness. Prospected university leads and strategized with senior team members to convert over 100 active app users. Led the Reproductive Justice Grant of $24,000 across 4 universities and organized the Ambassador and Mentorship Program
